What We Do
NRC Services are a family run business, with over 25 years’ experience in the electrical contracting industry and are a NICEIC approved contractor committed to providing a professional and reliable service to all our customers be them new or existing. We have an experienced team of contracts managers, electricians and apprentices who are backed up by our own in house CAD technician and a dedicated administration team which enables us to provide a full service from design and installation to handover including all O&M documents. All of our Electricians have had a full apprenticeship through JTL training and we take on a new apprentice each year, we are constantly investing in the development of our team, ensuring our core staff attend regular industry related training either in house or externally through accredited training providers.
Health & Education
NRC have the pleasure of working with three of biggest teaching organisations in the local area, University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield teaching hospitals these woks include full teaching space refurbishments, lecture theatres and hospital ward upgrades.
Emergency Lighting & Fire Alarm Installations
NRC Services offer a complete design and installation service to the latest standards for emergency lighting BS5266-1 2016 and fire alarms to BS5839 part 1 2017, this includes conventional and fully addressable systems. We also cover monthly and yearly testing for compliance purposes, including the supply of CAD drawings, logbooks and certification for new and existing installations.
Inspection, Testing & Thermal Image Surveys
We understand the need for regular checks on all electrical installations and offer a full service for fixed wire testing incorporating the NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition Report, to thermal surveys offering an efficient non-intrusive way of predictive maintenance that can identify faults prior to equipment failure and ultimately before risk of fire
Small Works & Maintenance
We have a fully equipped small works and maintenance team who can assist in pre-planned works or reactive call outs to keep your downtime to a minimum during those unpredictable breakdowns.
Additional Services
At the time of new installations and refurbishment we realise that its sometimes easier to upgrade I.T, security and CCTV infrastructure so with this in mind we work with a number of partnering companies which enables us to offer a full service from design to completion across both domestic and commercial markets.
