Founded in Sheffield and operating nationwide, we support commercial, industrial and public sector clients with a multi-division offering that covers cleaning, painting & decorating, mechanical and electrical works, and full building refurbishment.
Our story began in 1895 as a family-run painting and decorating business. Since then, we’ve evolved into a trusted, multi-disciplinary company with over 120 employees across five divisions — each one led by experienced professionals committed to delivering quality, consistency and value.
We pride ourselves on being a dependable, one-stop solution for complex projects. Whether you need a full-service office fit-out, mechanical installations, or ongoing site cleaning, our in-house teams work seamlessly together to minimise disruption and ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards.

Our History
1895
The company can trace its origins back to 1895 as Painters and Decorators.
1986
N.R.C Services Ltd was formed as painters and decorators by the company founders Bruce and Myra Lyne who had formally traded as a partnership.
1987
Malcolm Lyne started the Cleaning Division of N.R.C Services Ltd.
1999
1999 Bruce Lyne retires. Philip Lyne takes role of Managing Director. Graham Lyne as Company secretary.
2003
Building Division formed Director Designate Richard Lyne.
2006
Electrical Division started, Mark Oldale joined the company.
2006 David Redmile is named as Divisional Director of the Painting Division.
2012
Over 180 employed in four divisions; Painting, Building, Cleaning & Electrical.
2018
Still based in Sheffield with now over 220 employees over 5 divisions covering the whole of the UK.
Nathan Briddock joins NRC Services as Mechanical Divisional Director to further expand our Mechanical Department.
